great time for this album to drop when people are falling into bad habits and vices or just hurtin’ or being idiots and it’s hard to be a good boy who cares! takes these themes in a balanced playful pensive way, but you can still pop ass and bop your head to it. if good kid, m.A.A.d city had a cousin that also grew up sensitive in another wild city.

pglang did a cool mini doc on his childhood and influences growing up and i thought the layout + storytelling style was fresh. the album listening show looked crazy too. i thought that stage design was so genius as a way to evolve the stage and create hot stripped down spectacle. dirt piled over a light box!

plenty of moods for everyone. i don’t know what trend or genre Dramatic Girl is riffing off of but it turns me into a singing pop batch. other favorites: No Security, Ca$ino, Birds & the Bees, House Money, I am not a Lyricist
